Whether it’s Taco Tuesday, Cinco de Mayo, or just another Friday night, we LOVE having Mexican food for dinner. From super authentic (like tamales or chiles rellenos) to not-so-so (like taco bell stackers copycats or crunchwrap supreme), we can’t get enough. As with anything else, we know that no meal is complete without dessert… and drinks! Check out our list of 15 Mexican-inspired drinks — we’ve got everything from alcoholic favorites to cold-weather comfort drinks for you to enjoy all year round.

When it comes to Mexican cocktails, one reigns supreme: the margarita. We’re such a fan of margaritas that we’ve created TONS of derivatives of our favorite tequila cocktail. We’ve highlighted some of the more authentic versions here, but feel free to go wild with the flavor combinations. Another way to change it? Change your alcohol. Well, you’re going to want to stick with something agave-based, i.e. tequila, but try making one with a reposado top shelf, like in our Cadillac margarita, or switch to a smoky mezcal margarita for a fun twist.

We also have a soft spot for store-bought Mexican drinks like Jarritos soda, Topo Chico seltzer water and ofc, Mexican Coke, so we often turn to them when looking for simple mixers. Discover our Jarritos margaritas (so many fruit flavors to choose from), our ranch water cocktail (like an effervescent and light margarita) or a paloma (made with grapefruit soda like Squirt) to see why.

Want something alcohol-free? If it’s summer, your best bet is an agua fresca. These traditional Mexican drinks are made from a mixture of fruits with sugar and water to make something very refreshing and tasty. Ours is a watermelon agua fresca, but also try different fruits. Looking for a more comfortable drink? Try something with warming spices, like our Frozen Horchata or Mexican Hot Chocolate.
