This sweet roast coated with ghee is perfect for dinner with a spicy curry.

dissolve some gour in a little milk and leave to cool. Add baking soda and salt to whole wheat flour and mix well.

To add ghee and the milk solution and knead into a stiff dough.

Boil water, add jaggery powder and mix well. Add the cardamom powder, saffron and black pepper to the water and allow the jaggery to dissolve.

Mix wheat flour with this warm water mixture. Make a smooth paste and leave for 30 minutes.

Add the paste to a greased ghee towa and bake until golden brown.

Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
