Christmas is back on the menu at Hatton

A Christmas GOT is back on the menu at Hatton Arms.

The popular gourmet pub – part of the Hatton Estate which includes Hatton Country World – like other restaurants, was forced to call the time on Christmas last year due to the pandemic.

But this holiday season, The Hatton Arms got to serve their Christmas Fayre, and it’s sure to prove popular with old and new customers.

The pub naturally takes pride in sourcing locally and directly from its own private Hatton Estate – and those ingredients are put to good use.

And there is certainly no fuss with a £ 28.95 value for its three-course Fayre Christmas menu.

On the menu this year, starters including a truly magnificent Pheasant & Chestnut Terrine with plum chutney and a Mini Camembert Fondu with lingonberry jam, served with savory French bread.

The main courses, served with seasonal vegetables, include festive dishes with a twist – breaded turkey cutlets with sage and chestnut butter, a roasted pork loin stuffed with apricots and for those who don’t like seafood. meat, a bread with chestnuts, parsnips and cranberries.

A superb dish that is certainly worth considering is the Salmon Supreme with Mashed Potatoes, which is accompanied by magnificent leeks in mustard cream.

Those familiar with The Hatton Arms already know that portions are generous – although it’s never about quantity rather than quality – and the Christmas menu is no exception.

The desserts also have nice festive offerings – a traditional Christmas pudding with a brandy sauce, a winter berry pavlova in mulled wine, and a really winter warming hot chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

The Hatton Arms is popular for very good reason – the quality of the food of course, but also the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, in which the staff play an important role, ensuring that all customer needs are met.

It is truly a joy to see the return of Christmas to The Hatton Arms.
