Disney World shares Epcot Food & Wine Festival menu, complete with fries

Would you like fries with that? Walt Disney World adds a fries kiosk to the 2022 edition of Epcot International Food and Wine Festivalwhich begins in mid-July.

The Fry Basket will be one of 25 festival markets, Disney announced in a menu preview on the official website. Disney Parks Blog. It will be located near the theme park’s Test Track attraction. Visitors will be able to order adoba yuca fries with garlic and cilantro aioli as well as a three-pronged “flight of fries” with sea salt and malt vinegar fries, as well as grilled bacon and sweet potato fries, which will include candied pecans, toasted whiskey creme and caramel marshmallows.

Drinks offered at the Fry Basket will be a Salty Dog Cocktail (Vodka, Grapefruit Juice, Ginger, Simple Syrup, Lime, Salty Rim) and 81Bay Brewing Co.’s Lime Lager.

Prices have not been announced for the festival menu.

Disney’s site includes 86 food items, 32 of which are considered new to the festival. There are 116 drinks listed, including 34 new ones.

A starter sample might include guava mousse on a sugar cookie with coconut lime whipped cream (from Shimmering Sips Market), Spam musubi nigiri (Hawaii), Chesapeake crab slider (hops and barley), crispy grilled pork rinds with chili cheese (Swanky Saucy Swine), Rockefeller oysters (Coastal Eats) and octopus with green onion and cabbage bites (Japan).

Markets in India and Italy will introduce brand new food menus. Gnocchi di patate will have two varieties in Italy with a four cheese sauce or a vodka and bacon sauce, as well as an orange blossom panna cotta dessert. The Indian lineup will include paneer with mango curry ketchup, potato and pea samosa and chicken tikka masala.

The event runs from July 14 to November 19, although four markets – Hawaii, Noodle Exchange, Brew-Wing and Coastal Eats – do not open until August 15.

The festival will again feature Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt and Emile’s Fromage Montage, a suggested range of cheese dishes. The Eat to the Beat concert series begins with Baha Men July 14-15 and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy July 16-18.

The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is currently underway and ends July 4th.
