Ftheir restaurant launched its new winter menu with the press and local celebrities attending the restaurant to sample a special five-course tasting menu.
Jhe menu, which featured the best of Flowers’ new seasonal offering, included a selection of outstanding brunches, dinners and desserts.
Standout dishes included their pink cheese samosa, savory spicy Kerala salmon and their most popular brunch dish, French toast.
This year marks Fleur’s fourth festive season at The Light Leeds and the team, led by Masterchef runner-up and Great British Menu celebrity chef Bobby Geetha, are pulling out all the stops to make it a special one.
Other winter additions to the menu include slow-braised lamb steak and sirloin steak, but new winter hot dishes can also be found on the cocktail menu.
New cocktails such as Baileys Delight, a sumptuous vanilla sweet cream dessert cocktail, and White Chocolate Manhattan, a creamy chocolate vermouth drink, provide the perfect options for those looking to indulge this winter.
The restaurant’s founder, Bobby Geetha, has experience in various fine dining restaurants around the world. From his training at three-star Michelin Noma in Denmark to his work in Dubai, where he was named the UAE’s Best Indian Chef in 2018.
This experience, combined with her Kerala heritage, is reflected in all the menus at Fleurs.
He said: “Here in Fleur, our goal is to bring something different to this town. I draw on my heritage and experience for a lot of the dishes here, so we often take spices from the Middle East and blend them with what’s local. Because we love championing local Yorkshire produce, just with our own twist.
Flowers’ new winter menu can be enjoyed à la carte or as part of its fixed dinner offer. Priced at £19.95 for two courses or £24.95 for three courses, the carefully curated menu showcases the best of Fleur. You can even add bottomless drink packages that can include delicacies such as old-fashioned, Moscow mules, and mango-coconut martinis.
Diners can sample dishes such as Bang Bang Chicken Wings or Organic Scrambled Tofu Bao Rolls to start, followed by Spicy Chicken Jalfrezi or King Prawn Udon Noodles.
In signature Fleur style, the sweet treats here are the real stars with options such as saffron milk cake or hot chocolate fondant taking center stage.
The new winter dinner menu and set menu are available daily from 5:30 p.m. and can be booked online. With festive celebrations and parties aplenty over the next two months, Fleur remains one of Leeds’ go-to spots for a bottomless boozy brunch or affordable gourmet treat, and from today customers can enjoy Flowers’ signature menu with a winter twist.
