Fun Fall Recipes I’m Thankful For This Season

[ad_1]

In honor of the annual season of pumpkin, spice, and all good things, what better way to celebrate than with a few recipes that are sure to give you the perfect taste of fall? I’m here to share a few that are sure to get you and your stomach in that festive mood!

1. Pumpkin Dip

Fall, in my book, is the perfect excuse to do just about anything pumpkin pie. It’s a taste I can only get for a limited time each year and I never waste a second trying to find all the recipes I can. Amy Johnson made my dreams come true with her Pumpkin Dip recipe. A sweet dip that can be enjoyed in so many different ways!

2. Baked salads

TikTok has taken over with the latest food craze that is my dream recipe: baked salad. Now, I know at first it sounds strange, but hear me out. While salads are pretty much any time of the year, when those cooler months roll around, a warm salad is just the thing to get in those healthy greens while adapting to the season. of autumn. Luckily, creative chef and TikTok influencer @justine_snacks has the perfect recipe for your perfect baked salad.

3. Mulled wine

This one is for my red wine drinkers, and it couldn’t be easier to make! Originating in ancient Roman times, spiced, warmed wine was a wonderful treat that has evolved into many different recipes and styles using ingredients such as ginger, herbs and pepper. Fast forward to today’s recipe – choose a bottle of red wine (I recommend using something dry like a Merlot, Malbec or Cabernet Sauvignon) add orange slices, honey, hot spices (ginger, allspice, cardamom, cloves, etc.) and simmer for 10 minutes. Some like to add an extra step by pouring in brandy to give it an extra splash of flavor, but of course this is all completely optional and should be tailored to your unique taste!

4. Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese

The absolute perfect combination of creamy, cheesy and sweet delights in one bowl. Butternut squash mac and cheese holds a special place in my heart and stomach. It’s a fall staple, so it’s essential to eat it at least once this season. If you haven’t tried it yet or are ready to cook, Laura Manzano has a wonderful recipe!

5. Apple Cider Glazed Chicken

My mouth is watering just thinking about this recipe. Jocelyn Delk Adam’s recipe balances the perfect combination of sweet and savory at her meal. Serving as a unique meal for this holiday season, this chicken is for sure a recipe I will come back to for a few seconds.

6. Stuffed Jack-o-Lantern Peppers

TikTok is doing it again with another trending recipe. As if stuffed peppers couldn’t be more fun and delicious, TikTok went and proved me wrong yet again. Simply update your original recipe by slicing your peppers like you would a pumpkin on Halloween. TikTok chef @jennifervalentyne shared her Jack-o-lantern pepper recipe, and I can’t get enough of it.

7. Irish Coffee

Many thanks to my grandparents for introducing me to this well-drinking caffeine in a cup. Originated in Ireland in 1943 by chef Joe Sheridan, this Irish coffee has been a party staple for years, and now you too can create this simple signature drink. Although I’d love to say it’s anything other than what it looks like, I can’t. Take freshly brewed coffee and add your Irish whiskey (Jameson’s is recommended) and cream (heavy or whipped). That’s all we can say about it!

8. Apple Crumble

A classic signature of the fall season! This is easily one of my all-time favorite desserts. Looking for that warm, sweet and crunchy taste? Look no further than Everyday Made Fresh.c’s apple crumble recipe (Take my advice and throw vanilla ice cream on top!)

9. The fall harvest cocktail

Who doesn’t love a good apple cider this time of year? Want to improve it? In a shaker, add 1 oz apple flavored vodka, 1 oz apple bourbon and apple cider. Shake this mixture and add a splash of lime soda and cranberry juice over ice!

Enjoy! Happy Autumn!
