Is the IHOP Holiday Menu Review: What’s New at IHOP?

[ad_1]

It’s time to put away all the pumpkin spice! November is here, which means the holiday season is in full swing! And I JUMP has the perfect holiday menu Waiting for you. What’s new? Are the new additions to the menu here for a limited time? Are these new menu items worth the hype?

IHOP invited us to try their new holiday additions and you bet we rushed! Seasonal menus are a favorite here at Guilty Eats, but holiday menus? Obsessed. IHOP-Shares that these menu items are part of their “dedication to being a destination that inspires holiday traditions, sparks joy and helps customers relieve stress all season long.” You know what they say, happiness starts with happy taste buds (okay, maybe that’s just us saying that).

The IHOP Holiday Menu

Now, these new holiday items are only available for a limited time, so don’t wait until after the holidays to take advantage of them! Here’s what’s new:

  • Thick and Soft French Toast with Gingersnap Apples
  • Ginger milkshake
  • Ginger hot chocolate
  • Red Passion Fruit Splasher

IHOP invited us to sample these holiday treats and our taste buds were thrilled. I started with a Gingersnap Milkshake. I’m a big fan of milkshakes, so I was really hoping IHOP’s Gingersnap Milkshake wouldn’t disappoint. I’m happy to report that the Gingersnap Milkshake exceeded my expectations – it’s delicious. Granted, I thought the flavors would be overwhelming, but they come together perfectly. It includes vanilla ice cream mixed with ginger cookies, syrup and caramel. The milkshake is topped with ginger cookie pieces, red currants and whipped cream. Still, it’s not too sweet. The cookies add the perfect crunch and burst with flavor.

When the thick and fluffy Gingersnap Apple French Toast arrived at the table, I ordered the Gingersnap Hot Chocolate. IHOP isn’t kidding when they say this French toast is “reflective and fluffy.” It’s very filling and such a generous size! Be warned, one order of this can fill you up, so don’t treat it like a dessert or appetizer, it’s a complete meal! And a delicious one too.

The Gingersnap Hot Chocolate goes perfectly with French toast, it will take you back to childhood. Speaking of which, kids are going to love this hot chocolate! It is creamy and topped with whipped cream, ginger cookies and red currants.

Finally, I grabbed a Red Passionfruit Splasher drink to go on the way out – super refreshing! If you live in a warm region where winter only exists for a few weeks, make the most of it by enjoying this refreshing drink.

Until January 1, 2023, IHOP is also offering a $5 gift card with the purchase of $25 or more in gift cards.
