Launch of PizzaExpress’ spring menu with 5 tasty new vegan options

PizzaExpress has become a staple on the high street with over 360 pizzerias across the UK and Ireland and specially adapted products also selling in supermarkets.

The vegan menu has been adapted over the years and currently features pizzas, desserts and drinks so those of us who are plant-based will be spoiled for choice.

This new spring menu launch means there are plenty of fresh vegan options to choose from.

Plus, joining the lineup, we now see the introduction of a nationwide rollout of Vegan Garlic Butter! Perfect for dough balls.

Jane Treasure, Food and Beverage Manager at PizzaExpress, says, “We are thrilled to announce our new spring menu, which is a true celebration of seasonality, fresh ingredients, bright colors and innovative flavors.

What’s on the new vegan spring menu?

Pizza Express’ staple, the Leggera pizza (a fresh, light pizza with a salad served in the middle) has undergone an overhaul, it now has two-thirds fewer calories than the Romana. With a vegan version available, the Quattro Verdure is sure to delight.

Other new vegan dishes include the Romana Vegan Mezze, perfect for those who love spice. The perfect combination of grilled vegetables with smoked chilli, arugula, hummus and spicy harissa, it brings warmth.

There is also a starter of baked garlic mushrooms; a large portobello mushroom loaded with vegan mozzarella cheese herbs and a balsamic vinaigrette.

The Vegan Nourish Bowl is perfect for those looking for a slightly healthier option. The bowl of mixed cereal is filled with lemon, herbs and a whole bunch of tasty vegetables.

PizzaExpress already offers an impressive range of vegan wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks and the menu has clear labeling which makes eating out a little bit easier!

Finish it off with a nice refreshing vegan watermelon sorbet for dessert! Raspberry and coconut flavors are already on the menu.

With so many options, PizzaExpress offers a wonderful vegan dining experience!
