McDonald’s had added six items to its menu as part of its latest overhaul. Diners will now be able to sample the McSpicy, Grand Big Mac and Cheesy Garlic Bite, among other new foods

McDonald’s brings back its McSpicy burger

McDonald’s added six items to its menu today, including the popular McSpicy burger.

In case you’ve never tried it, the McSpicy offers a fiery chicken breast fillet topped with lettuce and mayonnaise between a toasted sesame seed bun.

It costs £4.29 for the burger alone or £5.79 as part of an average meal with a side and a drink. Keep in mind that prices vary across the country.

The Grand Big Mac is also back on the menu at McDonald’s. The Grand Big Mac comes with the same ingredients as a regular Big Mac, but in a larger size.

It costs £4.79 just for a Grand Big Mac burger, or £6.29 for an average meal. If you opt for the Grand Big Mac with Bacon, you’ll only pay £5.29 for the burger or £6.69 for an average meal.

The Grand Big Mac is also making a comeback

McDonald’s customers can now also sample Cheesy Garlic Bites for £1.99 as part of the latest menu revamp.

As for dessert, the fast food chain has brought back its McFlurries Flake Raspberry and Flake Chocolate, prices at 99p for a mini size from £1.39 for a regular.

The items below are all available from today (April 27) until June 7:

  • McSpicy – £4.29 or £5.79 for an average meal
  • Large Big Mac – £4.79 or £6.29 for a medium meal
  • Large Big Mac with bacon – £5.29 or £6.69 for a medium meal
  • Garlic and Cheese Bites – £1.99
  • Flake Raspberry – 99p for mini or £1.39 for regular
  • Flake Chocolate McFlurry – 99p for mini or £1.39 for regular

But the menu change means Maccies fans have just said goodbye to other popular items – including the Big Tasty.

The fast-food chain brought back the iconic burger on March 16 for a limited time only, along with two other flavors.

The Big Tasty is made with a 100% beef patty, Emmental-based cheese, onions, tomatoes and a “unique smoky flavor” sauce.

You could also buy the Bacon Big Tasty and the Big Tasty BBQ before they disappeared from the menus.

Other items that have been removed from McDonald’s restaurants include the Homestyle Crispy Chicken Burger and Chilli Cheese Bites.

The Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger consists of a crispy chicken breast fillet, topped with a tangy and spicy mayo, caramelized onions, seasonal lettuce, bacon, red onions, a slice of cheese Cheddar.

Meanwhile, Chilli Cheese Bites are spicy chunks of melted cheese in a crispy batter, served with a rich tomato dip.

McDonald’s has around 1,200 restaurants in the UK and Ireland. You can use his restaurant finder online to find the nearest branch.
