2. Sticky miso bananas
For a sweet miso dessert, try this sticky miso banana recipe. Start by heating the butter in a pan. Then add the sugar and miso paste, and stir until the mixture becomes smooth. Season with the cardamom pods. Then place the sliced bananas in the dish. Fry the bananas until they turn brown. Then turn them over and repeat. Serve with a little coconut yogurt and sesame seeds.
3. Black cod with miso
This miso black cod is so tasty! To make it, boil rice wine vinegar and sake. Then add the white miso paste and the sugar, and mix until you get a sauce. Pour the mixture over the cod fillets, cover tightly and marinate in the refrigerator for three days. Once the cod is marinated, cook it at 425 degrees Fahrenheit until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
4. Grilled cheese with miso
Looking for an easy upgrade to grilled cheese? Add a little mayonnaise to the miso to maximize its flavor. Start by mixing miso and mayonnaise to make your miso mayonnaise. Spread the miso mayonnaise on both sides of two slices of bread, then toast the bread in a pan. Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese to a slice of bread. Return the bread to the skillet, adding the second slice when the cheese melts. Grill on both sides and enjoy!
5. Vegan Miso Glazed Eggplant
For a vegan side dish that will knock your socks off, try this flavor-packed miso-glazed eggplant recipe. Start by cutting an eggplant in half and score the surface with a knife. Fry the eggplant on both sides in a skillet until golden. Then make the glaze by mixing the miso paste, sugar and mirin. Spread the glaze over the eggplants and bake them in the oven. Decorate with sesame seeds and enjoy!
