A new milkshake and dessert shop will open in Forest early next month.
Kim Griffin and her husband, James, open Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar in Lynchburg.
Crazy Mason will be offering specialty milkshakes as well as other treats, such as waffles and sundaes. It will also offer a specialty shake for Virginia, as the Lynchburg store will be the first in the state.
It will sell Blue Bell ice cream and work with local baker DeLitch Baking to supply some of its toppings.
“There are just endless possibilities,” Griffin said. “Really. We could probably do whatever you want.
The average price will be $12-$14.50 for a large glass jar, which customers can keep as a souvenir.
The new store will be located off Angler’s Lane in the Graves Mill shopping center at 18013 Forest Road.
The Crazy Mason started in Myrtle Beach in 2020 during the pandemic and has since opened locations in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Once the business is up and running, she hopes to connect with schools and nonprofits to host “spiritual evenings” as well as birthday parties where personalized jars can be created.
