New restaurant to host the benefits of the preview evening | Business

JR Neighbors, the newest restaurant in downtown Elizabethtown, is inviting around 400 people to be their first customers this weekend in a preview reservation with ticket that will benefit local charities.

Before its grand opening, the restaurant in the public square is organizing previews on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Each preview evening serves as an opportunity for staff training and will represent the first opportunity for JR neighbors to serve and cook for the community. Thus, the groups will be seated only two and four.

According to the release, ticket holders will be able to enjoy a sample of appetizers, a small salad, a choice of five appetizer sandwiches with seasoned fries, free soft drinks and a shared dessert.

The $ 50 bill does not cover alcohol and tip.

When purchasing tickets, the release says attendees can select a preferred day and time to visit the restaurant, which features artisan burgers, beer and bourbon. The time slots are from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Participants can also choose between restaurant or bar seating.

The event is being organized in partnership with the local nonprofit Give 270 and half of the ticket sales will benefit Silverleaf Sexual Trauma Recovery Services, CASA of the Heartland and the American Red Cross Chapter in Fort Knox.

Tickets cost $ 50 per person and can be purchased at give270.org/jr-neighbors.
