Ogdensburg business leaders to meet on tall ship at networking event


Aug. 26 – OGDENSBURG – When the tall ship Nao Trinidad docks in Ogdensburg early next month, it will host a gathering of county businesses and community leaders to help them connect and network.

Reception scheduled for 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, titled “B2B on the SEAway,” is hosted by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Development Agency of St. Lawrence County. .

The event will take place on the deck of the Nao Trinidad, a Spanish ship which is a replica of the ship commanded by Ferdinand Magellan during his voyage around the world.

“This is a great opportunity for businesses to connect with each other and with event sponsors in a truly unique setting,” said County IDA CEO Patrick J. Kelly.

Those attending the B2B reception onboard the ship will enjoy networking, appetizers and desserts, and a cash bar serving wine and beers.
