Harvey Nichols has launched a new menu in the fourth floor brasserie of his Briggate store which he says is “a perfect combination of the freshest seasonal ingredients accompanied by a delicious drinks menu”.
Created by head chef Lee Heptinstall, diners can enjoy an a la carte menu of international dishes, including beef tartare with chimichurri, charred leg of lamb with Greek salad or seared halloumi with mashed potatoes. zucchini and mint.
A Sunday menu is also available featuring a Yorkshire classic of roast beef sirloin with all the trimmings accompanied by pea risotto and grilled mackerel. Both menus include desserts that are impossible to resist with dishes ranging from a hot chocolate brownie with white chocolate and raspberry ice cream to a traditional cheese platter.
Vegans can enjoy an all-vegetarian menu of gazpacho, Greek salad, or linguine with raw ice cream and dairy-free vanilla cheesecake to top it all off.
Speaking about the new summer menu, Sally Lackey, general manager of Harvey Nichols, Leeds, said: “Lee has put together the most incredible menus that encapsulate everything we love about summer food. They are fresh, vibrant and full of flavor, transporting you to some of your favorite holiday destinations in Europe.
“The Fourth Floor Brasserie has long been a popular venue for people living locally and beyond and we look forward to inviting diners to try this culinary masterpiece of the summer.
“As well as a full bar of champagne, cocktails and soft drinks, we also have one of the largest selections of wines in the North of England in our Wine Shop. From old world classics to new wines modern organic products; we are happy to serve them to guests visiting our Brasserie.”
The store will also see the launch of a new No3 Gin Terrace takeover in August with the venues rooftop terrace offering a range of delicious gin cocktails overlooking the Leeds skyline.
Lockley added: ‘The roof terrace has been totally transformed and is the perfect place to enjoy an after-work cocktail or catch up with loved ones over the weekend. The decor will add to the summer vibe and is ideal for soaking up the sun and gazing at the Leeds skyline.
