Celebrate Mother’s Day with these local Westside deals

• Mamma Mia Brunch. Guests can celebrate their moms with a delicious brunch on May 8 at Bianca with special menus inspired by the owner’s mother and grandmother Bianca, perfect to pair with mimosas and other sparkling wine cocktails. Bianca also offers a special selection of treats from Federico Fernandez, perfect to share and so pretty to look at. The selection includes Harry’s berries strawberry pie, raspberry mille foglie, their signature Mom cookie, vanilla sandwich cookie or assorted gift or cookies.

• Gift boxes for Mother’s Day. Choose from a variety of beautiful Mother’s Day gift sets based on mom’s “wine personality.” Is she classic (sparkling pink), hipster (Pet-Nat pink) or mom-to-be (alcohol-free pink)? All boxes include a bouquet of dried flowers, a Rifle Paper card, a chocolate bar, hand sanitizer and a candle, or you can also follow the personalized itinerary.

• Mother’s Day treats. Brighten up Mom’s day with an elegant assortment of fresh floral arrangements or sweeten her day with chocolate covered strawberries. All brunches can be pre-ordered now through May 6 at 6 p.m. and picked up May 7-8.

• Pre-fixed Brunch. Hotel Casa del Mar is offering a special brunch menu in advance from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 8 at Terrazza. Enjoy your choice of oysters, English pea soup, tomato and melon salad, ricotta pancakes and more for an appetizer, followed by entrees such as smoked salmon quiche and bucatini with wild mushrooms. For dessert, finish with a strawberry and ricotta cheesecake, a chocolate fondant or a caramel flan. Brunch is onsite only for $115 per person.

• Breakfast in bed. In addition to being open for regular weekend brunch service and offering its regular dining menu, the team has organized a two-person take-out Breakfast in Bed package for $125. It includes breakfast strata, market-fresh fruit, cinnamon scones with crème fraîche whipped cream, and a mimosa kit, with the option to add more items for the whole family.

• Mother’s Day Brunch. Reservations are now available for Mother’s Day Brunch, so linger on the back patio with Mom for lunch pizza, cast-iron cinnamon rolls and specialties like homemade French toast with whipped vanilla brandy mascarpone . If you’re celebrating at home, there’s heat and serve Mother’s Day brunch with asparagus frittatas with tomato salad, addictive chimichurri potatoes, Beeler’s natural pork sausage and more Again.
