According to Plan the Hen, Manchester is one of the best cities for a bachelorette party – and the options for bachelor party activities are excellent too.

So we’ve put together a list of the most exciting stag and hen parties in and around Manchester.

Stag

Bierkeller Oompah Show

Bierkeller, The Printworks, 27 Withy Grove, M4 2BS

Enjoy one of Bierkellers Oompah shows as part of your bachelor party.

World-famous shows include lots of singing, dancing, stomping, swaying and drinking – and a live performance by Oompah band, The Stompin’ Steiners.

Your group of boys can get extra points for dressing in Lederhosen.

For £15 pp you can reserve the best benches for the show and that includes a beer, cider or cocktail mug (that’s a liter of booze each!).

For £30 you can get the above, plus a miniature bottle of Jagermister and a Bavarian Wurst (a sausage) with a side of skin on chips.

Note: Oompah group starts at 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays

Craft Beer Tour

International House, 61 Mosley Street, M2 3HZ

Enjoy a walking tour through Manchester, with an expert guide and the chance to try and sample craft beers at off-the-beaten-track breweries and breweries.

For £35 pp, your 3.5-hour guided tour includes a tasting of 10 craft beers (⅓ pints), a visit to four local venues and a talk on each drink by experts.

Note: 50p from each person on the tour goes to Big Change Manchester, helping to end homelessness in the city.

Football Zorbing (also known as Bubble Football)

Two Manchester locations – indoors and outdoors

Football is a hugely popular sport, but imagine playing football inside a giant inflatable bubble – it makes tackling and just running that much harder.

For just £28 per person you can enjoy a game of five-a-side bubble football with your bachelor party.

They have an outdoor venue in the North Quarter and an indoor venue in the Trafford area – both have an onsite bar and changing rooms.

They also offer Bubble MayHEM on both sites, which is more football matches and less real football.

Note: There is a minimum of 10 people for a soccer zorbing game, and any smaller group will still be charged for 10 people.
