  • 250 g butter

  • 1 tablespoon of spice blend
  • 250 g of flour (Maida)

For the spice blend

  • 1 teaspoon of cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 3 green cardamoms
  • 1 our black cardamom
  • 2 our 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • ½ nutmeg
  • 2-blade mass
  • 1 star anise
  • ½ teaspoon of fennel seeds

For the icing

  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 50 g icing sugar

  • In a large bowl, combine the butter and powdered sugar together.
  • Continue to add the eggs and cream the mixture well. To this, add the sifted flour and baking soda well.
  • Add the soaked fruit and coat with the flour mixture.

  • Apply oil to the cake pan and sprinkle it with flour as well. Pour the dough into the cake tin and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool completely. Once the cake has cooled, it’s time to frost it.

For the spice blend

  • Add the fennel seeds, star anise, black pepper, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, nutmeg and mace in a powdered grinder.


  • In a bowl, whip the cream cheese and add the icing sugar.

  • For the pie base, combine the soft butter and sugar on medium speed for three minutes. Add milk, mix well. Add the flour and make a soft dough.
  • Let the paste rest for two hours before use.
  • For the mixture, soak all the dried fruits in rum with spice powder the day before.
  • Roll out a 3 mm thick dough and cut out the desired mold shape for the bottom.
  • Fill the soaked mixture overnight in a pie pan, cover it with sweet dough and form a net.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 25min.
  • Serve hot.
