Natural 20 Brewing serves gamer-themed pub fare like Gary’s Bacon Ranch flatbread.

OI like eating places that don’t get caught too seriously and Natural 20 Brewing Co. is just that: a fun place to drink a fun beer like “Serious Gourmet Shit” Caramel Macchiato White Milk Nitro Stout, making us wonder: is this a dessert too? Do you drink it for breakfast?

Natural 20 (the name refers to the highest roller a Dungeons & Dragons player can ride a 20-sided die) also recently launched a new menu that enhances your food options with nine hot and cold handhelds such as Philadelphia Gorgon Cheese Steak ($15) with Scottish Beer Infused Mustard from the brewery, plus soup, salads, snacks, and six flatbreads like Gary’s Bacon-Loaded Chicken Ranch ($10).

The new food menu is live at both the original Spokane Valley location (13216 E. Sprague Ave.) as well as the recently opened Spokane location at the former Hidden Mother Brewing site (1303 N.Washington St.). Visit

Spokane’s Spiceology aims to provide the perfect blend of seasonings for any culinary situation, while local lifestyle brand The Great PNW focuses on sharing all the great things about the Pacific Northwest through its clothing. and iconic accessories.

Now the two local favorites are teaming up to create PNW PROVISIONSstarting with a Kickstarter campaign that runs until September 30. Initial plans are to offer trail mixes, locally roasted coffee and caffeinated energy bars online ( and at The Great PNW retail store inside River Park Square, eventually expanding the range to include more great-tasting products.

Although the $10,000 fundraising campaign far exceeded that goal, supporters can still pledge funds in exchange for support packages that include the merchandise itself, as well as an invitation to a launch party. Look for PNW Layouts on Kickstarter to support the project.

It’s not just the locals who love INDABA COFFEE breaststroke.
