Loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber, and protein, hazelnuts are primarily grown in Turkey, Italy, Spain, and the United States.
They have a sweet, rich, and nutty flavor and can be a great addition to chocolate spreads, milkshakes, desserts, and even some savory dishes.
These nuts increase muscle strength, support your heart health, and improve cognitive function.
Here are five hazelnut recipes.
Sift the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together in a bowl.
Add the hazelnut paste and the butter, and knead into a stiff dough.
Gradually add a little milk to the mixture and knead again to obtain a smooth dough.
Shape into small balls and place them on a buttered baking sheet.

Toast the hazelnuts for 7-10 minutes until golden brown, then chop finely.
Combine all-purpose flour, sugar, cinnamon, whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Separately, whisk together the eggs, butter and buttermilk.
Stir the egg mixture into the flour mixture. Add the hazelnuts and mix well.
Cook a spoonful of batter in an oiled skillet for two minutes. Serve.
