Ulster County’s popular bakery is expanding its menu and now serving lunch

The baker’s story had a pretty good year. That’s what happens when you make sure you provide your customers with quality food and great service. If you are unfamiliar, The Baker’s Tale is a cute little bakery located at 578 Route 44/55 in the town of Highland, Ulster County. They have some of the best baked goods in the area, a few months ago they started serving breakfast, and now they are expanding again with a new lunch menu.

The new lunch menu at Baker’s Tale looks pretty delicious. They have things like the turkey wrap, the pastrami reuben, the adult grilled cheese, the mountain of meat, and the bacon, avocado, spinach, and tomato sandwich, plus some great salads to choose from. And since it’s a bakery, they also offer desserts. I’m hungry just thinking about it.

One of the other neat things about The Baker’s Tale is that they’re on the way everywhere. Are you going to discover all the cool businesses in the village of Highland? Swing be The Baker’s Tale. On the way to New Paltz? Just like The Baker’s Tale. Maybe you are planning a hike in the mountains? You can stock up on lunch and sweet snacks at The Baker’s Tale on Route 44/55 in Highland.

The Baker’s Tale serves lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. I was actually lucky enough to stop there and pick up some bakery items a few weeks ago. I totally recommend the marzipan croissant, and if they have the mini lemon and strawberry cakes, I hear they are amazing. I haven’t had a chance to check out the new lunch menu, but I will and you should too.
