Valley Mall Welcomes New Businesses Over The Holidays


During the ongoing pandemic, many business owners faced many challenges, some closed their businesses while others found opportunities and opened new businesses in Yakima Valley.

Valley Mall officials say they have a mix of local and national brands at the mall

Officials at Valley Mall in Union Gap welcome a host of new businesses opening just in time for the holiday season. Mall Vice President Traci Russell said, “We know people love to support local businesses and buy their favorite national brands. So we have a great mix of the two here at Valley Mall. The gorgeous new cafe is a great place to grab a meal, refuel after holiday shopping, and maybe even catch a glimpse of Santa.

A new cafe has opened and Hickory Farms is back

A press release from the mall says these new businesses are now open;
Caffeine connection: Owned and operated by Amy Gostovich, this is the third Yakima location for this popular cafe. Sample coffee, sandwiches, wraps, treats, and even beer, wine, and cider from local breweries and wineries.

wild jay: Wildjay is an empowering clothing brand that encourages self-confidence to rebel against the norm and live a more creative, authentic and fearless life. This Yakima-based company sells clothing for men and women.

Hickory farms: Be sure to add this family favorite to your holiday shopping list. Filled with fresh, high-quality ingredients, Hickory Farms gift baskets are filled to the brim with savory meats, cream cheeses and sweet desserts.

Tahvio’s barbecue: These locally made seasonings and spices are sure to delight the taste buds. Tahvio’s goal is to allow people to experience the taste of food when there is love.
Phone Shop: Stay connected year round with help from Phone Shop, which offers repairs and a variety of cell phone accessories.

Concept: This stylish clothing store has moved into a larger space and now offers clothing for women, men and children. Concept’s mission is to bring trendy and affordable clothing, jewelry, accessories, footwear and cosmetics into a shopping experience for all styles.

A new company will also open in 2022

Guitar Center: The store is currently under construction and will open in February. As a company of musicians and music lovers, Guitar Center is driven by a shared belief that music is the greatest unifying force in the world.
