A cookie shop is coming to OneDaytona

Crumbl Cookies will soon be opening at OneDaytona on West International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach.

It will be between Painting with a Twist and Crab Knight at Shoppes at OneDaytona. Delicious Dessert Destination is focused on developing unique and delicious cookies inspired by popular flavors, foods and desserts of all kinds.

The opening date will be communicated as the work progresses.

Co-founded by cousins ​​Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley, Crumbl Cookies opened its first store in Logan, Utah in 2017, and at first only served its famous fresh milk chocolate chip cookies for takeout and delivery. .

Each week, the menu rotates to offer four to five different specialty flavors to taste and enjoy, while fan-favorite milk chocolate chips are a permanent feature of the menu.

Crumbl now has more than 400 bakeries and is also developing a store in DeLand.

Bloomios talks about the Daytona Beach factory

The hotel has a new owner and manager

LBA Hospitality, an Alabama-based hotel management company, announced that it has taken over the management contract for the 101-suite Best Western New Smyrna Beach Hotel & Suites at 1401 S. Atlantic Ave.

The hotel was also recently acquired by Key International of Miami for $18.7 million, according to Volusia County Clerk’s records. The company’s website also states that it owns the Hampton Inn on Flagler Avenue.

Bridgestone Retail Operations, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas Inc., has opened its all-new Firestone Complete Auto Care tire and automotive retail facility at 2420 State Road 44 in New Smyrna Beach.

The store will carry Bridgestone and Firestone brand tires. It will offer the latest automotive technology and equipment operated by ASE certified technicians.

Under the Bridgestone Tires4Ward recycling program, used tires removed from service at the store will be reused as rubberized asphalt, building materials, landscaping mulch and energy creation.

Opening of the Daytona Laundromat

Daytona Laundromat will open Monday, June 20 at 2004 S. Ridgewood Ave. in South Daytona.

From Monday June 20 to Sunday June 26, it will offer free use of washing machines to all self-service customers. The dryers cost 25 cents for five-minute intervals.

The renovated laundromat has all new machines in working order and enough to avoid long waits.
