Premieres Sunday, April 24

For the first time, Duff Goldman is in the kitchen to share his favorite savory dishes and sweet desserts in Food Network’s new daytime series “Duff: Ace of Taste,” which premieres Sunday, April 24 (noon ET/ PT). Duff, known for his prime-time baking expertise, now shares his culinary skills as a classically trained chef by preparing tasty and satisfying meals.

As a husband and new father, Duff passes on his love for his family, friends and local community with delicious, freshly prepared home-cooked meals. From tiny finger foods for her daughter Josephine’s first tea party, to a decadent cheeseburger on a pâté a choux to satisfy the stomachs of her bandmates, and new crowd-pleasing candy variations for a bake sale at his neighborhood elementary school, Duff adds his signature creativity to every dish.

He said, “Cooking savory foods can be just as creative and surprising as baking and baking. Audiences have seen me breaking down the science of baking in plain English at “Baking Championships,” and that’s exactly what I’m doing with cooking on “Duff: Ace of Taste” — and the food is super good! Now, instead of just eating food and telling you what I think of a dish, I can actually show you how I like to prepare it.

Food Network President Courtney White said: “Viewers were blown away by Duff Goldman’s artistry of prime time cakes and desserts. Now, we’re thrilled for viewers to see him share his cooking skills on Food Network’s “in the kitchen” programming. Viewers will enjoy seeing a more personal side of Duff in the kitchen.

Family, friends and food have always been central to Duff’s life, and throughout the six half-hour episodes, he shares how he prepares their favorite foods. Each episode is packed with recipes, including Texas Chili and Southern Sweet Cornbread, as well as helpful takeaways and handy time-saving tips in the kitchen (like how to make a dual-purpose batter that can be used for appetizing sweet and savory dishes such as chocolate babka and spinach and artichoke babka).
